Introduction

GymBrain ("we," "us," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding data collection, use, and storage for the GymBrain offline fitness application.

This policy applies to all users of the GymBrain application across all platforms (iOS, Android, and web).

Local Data Storage

All data generated within the GymBrain application is stored locally on your device using Hive, our embedded local database solution. This includes:

Key Point

We do not collect, store, or have access to any of your data. Your workout information never leaves your device. We cannot see, retrieve, or use any of your personal fitness information.

You have complete control over your data. You can delete, export, or backup your data directly from the app at any time. If you uninstall the application, all locally stored data will remain on your device until you manually delete it.

App Permissions

GymBrain requires minimal permissions to function properly. We only request permissions that are absolutely necessary for the app's core features.

Local Notifications

We request permission to send you local notifications on your device. These notifications are generated locally and used to remind you of your scheduled workouts, rest periods, or other fitness milestones. No data is sent to any server for this feature. All notification logic runs entirely on your device.

Important Notice

GymBrain does not require camera access, microphone access, location tracking, contacts, calendar integration, or any other invasive permissions. We only use what we need to deliver our offline fitness experience.

Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your information is primarily dependent on your device's own security measures. We recommend:

No Data Sharing

GymBrain does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a child under 13 provides information to us, we will take steps to promptly delete such information and terminate the child's account. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided personal information should contact us immediately.
